I seem to follow Nick Cave about for some reason - he was in Portobello when I was there, and Brighton etc - so I've seen him quite a lot.

If you see him again - (I'd recommend the Supermarket in Brighton) you should go over and give him a chorus of Tie Me Kangaroo Down Sport. He loves it when people do that.

I once saw Nick Cave go into the Gas showroom on Tottenham Court Road to look at compact stereo systems. I didn't find that fact that Nick Cave was looking at them as strange as the fact that the Gas showroom stocked stereos as well as ovens. Unless they were gas powered stereos of course. The utility companies had just been deregulated at the time so were branching out. These days they are owned by Spanish or Dutch people I think. So they are probably allowed to give dogs blowjobs in the shadow of the windmills or blow cigarette smoke onto dried hams in overlit bars or something like that.
