Back in November there was much LOLing @ conservapedia.com (link) (a wikipedia-like resource for conservatives (but without the reality bias)), who’s most “researched” pages were as follows:

Now obviously, being a conservative isn’t all work work work, so a month later it appears their obsessions have shifted slightly to those two perennial icons of the American Right, Adolf Hitler and err… David Beckham.

And there’s clearly nothing gay about that. One was a fascist dictator who had a moustache and killed millions of people, the other is a really good looking athletic young man with chiselled features and a boyish crop of unruly blonde hair, who dresses fabulously… and then there’s that shirt-swapping thing they always do at the end of matches when the sweat shines across the tanned musculature of his torso as he stalks from the field like some sort of powerful young animal.
And the other one was a fascist dictator with a moustache who killed millions of people - and that’s the one you focus your mind on “afterwards” when you’re out doing something down-to-earth like mowing the lawn or sawing something, getting your bearings and clearing your mind.

But when the hilarity dies away, I must confess to feeling a little sad… you poor people. For fuck’s sakes, why can’t you just be happy?
