The 70km wide web site

Ok, so I got bored lat night and decided to recreate the universe out of my own pixels, because that’s the kind of guy I am.

6000 pixels of radiant sunshine

Unfortunately I only got as far as the solar system… then the pixels ran out. It’s about 599999999 by 599999999 - which on my PC is about 70km sq. This comes to 359,999,998,800,000,001 - which is still a fuck of a lot of pixels… but like, not enough. I think I know now how God must have felt when he ran out of pixels. It’s soooooooo frustrating. It’s not surprising he wound up making little people out of plasticene for no other reason than to fuck with their minds with talking snakes and magic apples and whatnot.

Anyway, similar to the real universe, it only displays in Firefox.

The circles were drawn using Walter Zorn’s graphics thing here, which is pretty cool - and the dimensions came from http://www.exploratorium.edu/, which is also pretty cool.

Later on I’m going to wander over to the supermarket and buy some beer I think. I can’t really think what else to do - although there is a risk that if the people working there are still dressed up as elves, I might wind up smiting someone. I’m not in a good mood.

I’m not in a good mood at all.
